SUN 12/31: Deadline to submit completed nomination forms for the FCUSBC Youth Hall of Fame, Coaches Hall of Fame, and Adult Recognition awards. Forms to be posted on this website by September 1st.

January 2025

SUN 1/5: USA Bowling Coastal South Regional Tournament at Aloma Bowl, Orlando. This is a baker-team tournament with 2 divisions (U12 & U15), with each champion advancing to the National Championships in Green Bay, WI in July 2025.
SAT 1/11: FL Pepsi & FL Handicap In-League Qualifying Week #2/FINAL. Advance within your league to the statewide tournaments held at Capital Lanes in Tallahassee during mid-March through April.
SAT 1/11: Jacksonville Junior Bowlers Tour (JJBT) tournament #5 at Batt Family Fun Center. $50 entry fee, open to youth members with a prior year or current average (9 games) of 100+. 3 divisions — Handicap, lower scratch, and higher scratch. Check-in Noon to 12:45pm, tournament begins at 1pm. Format is a 5-game block on modified house shot conditions, cut the field to top 50% (min. 8 advance), then up to three rounds of single-game, single-elimination match play brackets.
SUN 1/12: North Florida Sport Shot Series (NFSSS) Scholarship Tournament #4 at Jax Lanes Bowling Center. Check-in 9am to 9:45am, tournament begins at 10am. Format is a 5-game block on an undisclosed, recent Junior Gold sport shot conditions. $50 entry fee, includes Most Spares contest and Knockout Challenge SMART scholarship contests, Junior Gold Qualifier option is available at all NFSSS events for additional entry fee based on age division (1 in 4 ratio).
SAT 1/18: Deadline for submitting entries for the 60th Annual Youth City Championship, held Feb 1st/2nd. Details to follow.
SAT 1/18 – SUN 1/19: 35th Annual Bill & Millie Landen Youth Scholarship Tournament, held at Seminole Lanes in Seminole (Tampa area). This annual scholarship event is run by the Florida State Youth Leaders.

February 2025

SAT 2/1: 60th Annual Youth City Tournament — Team event held at Batt Family Fun Center. 10am & 1:30pm squads
SUN 2/2: 60th Annual Youth City Tournament — Doubles/Singles events held at Bowlero Mandarin. 9:30am & 1:30pm squads.

Format is a 5-game block on modified house shot conditions, cut the field to top 50% (min. 8 advance), then up to three rounds of single-game, single-elimination match play brackets.
SUN 3/9: Annual Coaches Memorial Event at Bowlero Mandarin — Youth Hall of Fame, Coaches Hall of Fame, Annual Awards, Youth City Awards, and No-Tap Tournament. Full details to follow.

Over $60k in SMART scholarships are guaranteed to be awarded out. Team, Doubles, and Singles events offered, similar to our Youth City Tournament.
