Association Events Calendar:

BACK TO BOWLING BASH: The first ever “Back to Bowling Bash” takes place at Bowlero Mandarin. $75 entry fee, open to all adult and youth bowlers with a 100+ average. 3 handicap divisions — Adult Men, Adult Women, and Youth Mixed. Check-in 9am to 9:50am, tournament begins at 10am. Format is a 5-game block on modified house shot conditions, cut the field to top 8, then up to three rounds of single-game, single-elimination match play brackets (similar to the JJBT). Payout is 1:5 in SMART funds.

Jacksonville Junior Bowlers Tour (JJBT): This monthly scholarship tournament series is open to all youth bowlers with a 100+ average. Entry Fee is $50. 3 divisions based on entering average — “Bronze” Handicap (100-159 avg), “Silver” Scratch (160-184), and “Gold” Scratch (185+). Check-in is from Noon to 12:45pm, tournament begins at 1pm. Format is a 5-game block on modified house shot conditions, cut the field to top 50% (min. 8 advance), then up to three rounds of single-game, single-elimination match play brackets. Bowlers earn points towards qualifying for the year-end JJBT Invitational, where over $5,000 in SMART scholarships will be awarded!

North Florida Sport Shot Series (NFSSS): This monthly scholarship tournament series is open to all USBC members under age 21 (as of 8/1/2026). Check-in opens 1 hour before the tournament begins. Format is a 5-game block on an undisclosed sport shot pattern. The $50 entry fee includes our in-tournament “Most Spares” / “Most Strikes” scholarship contests and our signature event afterwards… the Knockout Challenge! A Junior Gold Qualifier option is available at all NFSSS events except the finale, for additional entry fees based on age division (1 in 5 ratio). The add-on for most divisions will be $50, no more.

BVL Baker Doubles: This annual charity event benefits the Bowlers-to-Veterans Link and the Lake City VA Hospital. In 2026, this handicap tournament will be in a “Baker Doubles” format, where teammates combine to bowl 4 team games, alternating entire frames. Details will be made available by mid-September.

Youth City Tournament: Our annual Youth City Championships is open to all First Coast USBC youth bowlers. Saturday 1/23/2027 will be the Team event at Yulee (4-person teams, 3 games per person), while Sunday 1/24/2027 will be the Doubles & Singles events at Bowlero Mandarin (6 games per person). Awards will be given out at the annual Coaches Memorial on 3/7, followed by our annual Youth No-Tap Tournament!
