Upcoming Events – March 2017

Youth Bowlers,

Here’s what you have to look forward to in a busy month of March (beyond your weekly bowling leagues):

• Saturday, March 11th – Jacksonville Jr Bowling Tour (JJBT) monthly scholarship tournament at Nassau Bowling Center.  Registration is from 12:00pm to 12:45pm, and the tournament starts promptly at 1:00pm.
• Sunday, March 12th – The South-West Florida Classic will hold its monthly scholarship tournament at Nassau Bowling Center.  This tournament is played on a medium sport pattern and will offer an optional Junior Gold qualifier.  9:00-9:45 Check-in; 10am start. $50 entry fee.  Visit their Facebook page for details.
• Sunday, March 19th – The Travel League is holding its Annual Year-End Open Tournament at King Pins. This “bragging rights” tournament is open to all youth bowlers (not just those in the Travel League), and only costs $9 for 4 games.  See what it’s like to bowl on sport shot patterns and learn more about the Travel League.  Registration is 1:15pm-1:45pm, as we will start promptly at 2pm.  Afterwards, stay for the Travel League Awards Ceremony, where 8 Junior Gold spots and a lot of prizes (equipment / scholarships) are awarded!
• Saturday, March 25th – Challenge Tournament at Bowl America Mandarin.  1:00pm-1:45pm check-in, 2:00pm start.  See your Center Youth Director to form a team.  This is the last chance to qualify for the Tournament of Champions — the 6 monthly winning teams PLUS the 6 highest scores from non-winning teams are invited to the TOC in April!
